This is to inform all concerned of the resignation of Pauline Jones who had been selected to serve in the capacity of Lay Director for Utah Via de Cristo. This resignation is necessary due to the limitations that stage 4 cancer has imposed on Pauline. Her energy level has been reduced to the point that she feels she is unable to serve on the secretariat and to carry out the duties involved. Her hope that this was a temporary inability is now a reality that must be acknowledged. Pauline is, of necessity, needs to limit her “projects” to what is essential.
The decision to resign has been prayerfully deliberated. Pauline asks for your prayers that the measures currently being taken by her medical professionals will have favorable results. She also asks that you pray for the Utah Via de Cristo as a Christian organization. It is her hope that among the group who are made aware of this resignation there are individuals who feel called to step into the void.
Pauline wishes to thank those with whom she had the honor of serving for their commitment to VdC, for their friendship, and for their concern. She asks that God bless each of you and all who have been a part of Utah Via de Cristo.
